England tour of India 2025 ends with great disappointment as England loses the 3 match ODI series with 0-3. Previously England lose the T20 5 match series by 1-4.
India secured a dominant 142-run victory over England in the third ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, completing a 3-0 series sweep. Shubman Gill led the charge with a brilliant century, scoring 112 off 102 balls, including 14 fours and three sixes. His knock powered India to 356 all out in 50 overs after England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bowl.
Shreyas Iyer (78), Virat Kohli (52) and KL Rahul (40) made crucial contributions. Adil Rashid was England’s standout bowler, taking 4 for 64, while Mark Wood impressed with 2 for 45. However, the rest of England’s attack struggled to contain India’s batting lineup.
England began their chase strongly but lost momentum after the first wicket fell. Regular dismissals kept them from building partnerships. Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel claimed two wickets each, sealing a comprehensive win for India. The victory serves as a major boost for Rohit Sharma’s side ahead of the Champions Trophy, which begins on February 19.

Shubman Gill receives man of the match award on his brilliant 112 runs. Gill scored 259 runs in this 3 match series with average of 86.33. He named as a player of the series on his brilliant performances. England tour of India 2025 ends with great disappointment as they lose confidence ahead of big event.
