The National T20 Cup 2025 is set to begin on Friday March 14. A total of 18 teams from 16 regions will compete in the tournament. Matches will take place in three cities Faisalabad, Lahore and Multan. Karachi Whites aim to defend their title. Asad Shafiq lead the Karachi Whites in the last edition of National T20 Cup.
Venues and Matches
The Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad will host the most games, with 23 matches, including the knockout rounds. Lahore will have games at Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA Ground. Meanwhile, the Multan Cricket Stadium will stage eight National T20 Cup 2025 matches.
Prize Money
A total prize of PKR 9.4 million is up for grabs. The winning team will take home PKR 5 million, while the runner-up will receive PKR 2.5 million.
Group Stage Lineup
The National T20 Cup 2025 features four groups of teams
- Group A: Karachi Region (Blues), Lahore Region (Whites), Larkana Region, Peshawar Region, Quetta Region.
- Group B: Karachi Region (Whites) (Defending Champions), Bahawalpur Region, Dera Murad Jamali Region, Islamabad Region, Lahore Region (Blues).
- Group C: Abbottabad Region, Faisalabad Region, Hyderabad Region, Rawalpindi Region.
- Group D: AJK Region, FATA Region, Multan Region, Sialkot Region.
Knockout Rounds
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals. These matches will be held on March 23 and 24 at the Iqbal Stadium Faisalabad. The semi-finals are set for March 26, while the final will be played on March 27 all at the same venue.
